Question: To Sneak, or Not to Sneak?

Dishonored just came out this week, and people have been gleefully choking out guards and lopping off heads ever since. One of the coolest things about Dishonored is that it runs on the concept of player freedom—you don’t have to kill anyone if you don’t want to, and it’s possible to complete the entire game without ever murdering a soul.

Some players like this playstyle, some players don’t. Some wish to be a ghost in the shadows, killing only the guards unfortunate enough to be in the way. Others look to be a blaze of chaos crashing through hallways, blades at the ready. It’s all about your personal preference.

I, for example, am attempting to finish Dishonored without killing anyone. So far I’ve done a fine job, though I did have to reload a save after accidentally dropping an unconscious guard over a balcony. In other games, I usually opt to be as stealthy as possible and keep as little blood on the ground as I can.

But hey, that’s just me. So we want to know what YOU think. Are you the stealthy type? Or do you prefer to cut down your foes and make sure they never get back up again?

Let us know in the comments!
